豊田耕三（アイリッシュフルート、ティンホイッスル）、長尾晃司（ギター、マンドリン）、中村大史（アコーディオン、ブズーキ）によるアイルランド・ケルト音楽バンド「O'Jizo」の5作目のフルアルバム。 O'Jizoが北米を中心とした海外に進出するようになって10年が経ちました。アメリカの西海岸のフェスティバルから始まった海外ツアーは、2022年カナダでのGoderich Celtic Roots Festival 以降さらに広がりを見せ、アメリカ最大級のフェスティバルであるMilwaukeeやDublin Ohio、そして、アイルランドまでに至ります。 この10年の間に出会い共演した沢山のアーティストとの素晴らしい縁を形にしたいという想いから生まれた本作品は、総勢9人のゲストを迎え、トラック毎に違うゲストとのレコーディングを敢行しました。 選曲についても、海外滞在中に出会った曲や、関わったアーティストが書いた曲を中心に、O'Jizoにとって旅情溢れるものとなっています。 タイトルの “Wa” は多義語。和（Peace, Japan）、輪（Circle）、わ！（感嘆詞）、あるいはWonderful Artistsかもしれないし、ゲストミュージシャンのレコーディングに際し何度も口からこぼれた ”Wow, amazing!” かもしれません。 ゲストミュージシャン Brian Finnegan / Whistle Enda Scahill / Banjo Clíona Halley / Concertina (Fiarock) Darragh Carey Kennedy / Banjo (Fiarock) Evan Powell / Piano (Fiarock) Nicolle Fig / Bodhran (Fiarock) Shannon Heaton / Flute Matt Heaton / Guitar & Bouzouki Jake James / Fiddle
