Hideki KajiBorn in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture. Futtsu City Tourism Ambassador.
In January 1997, his first album "MINI SKIRT" incorporated elements of Swedish pop, which was just before it became a global boom, and was a huge hit, selling over 300,000 copies, leading the Shibuya-kei movement in the 1990s. Since then, he has expanded his musical horizons based on his roots in neo-acoustic music, releasing works with Tore Johansson, Eggstone, Pastels, Bertrand Bulgara, and others. On April 24, 2024, he will release his 19th album "BEING PURE AT HEART ~ Ari no mama de ii janai" for the first time in about five years.
