Yosuke InoueBorn in Osaka in 1964. He began his career as a professional jazz musician while studying at Osaka College of Music, and after moving to Tokyo, he joined various groups such as Motohiko Hino Band and Masahiko Sato Band. In 1991, he moved to New York. While performing with leading musicians such as Roy Hargrove, he also played with the Great Jazz Trio led by Hank Jones, and faced jazz at the forefront there. Since moving his base of operations to Japan in 2004, he has been active as a first call for many top players. He has earned the deep trust of top musicians in the Japanese jazz scene, such as Kazumi Watanabe and Junko Onishi, and also actively supports big names in the pop field such as Superfly, JUJU, and Chikuzen Sato. As a top bassist, he is leading the Japanese jazz scene. From his debut album 'Speak Up' in 1997 to 'One Step Beyond' in 2024, he has released 11 albums as a leader, and in 2025 he released his first solo album 'Walking Alone' on Days of Delight.
