aisuDuring the increased time spent at home due to the pandemic, I decided to try things I'd always wanted to do and began composing Vocaloid music.
I started as a complete beginner, not even knowing the difference between a guitar and a bass. Still, the process of gradually layering sounds and shaping a song into form was incredibly enjoyable. Before I knew it, it became the longest-lasting hobby of my life.
While my specialized musical knowledge is still limited, translating what I feel into words and sound is now my greatest joy.
I carefully craft each song, aiming for pieces that might offer a little comfort to someone's heart or be remembered in a fleeting moment.
For production, I use Studio One as my DAW and primarily focus on Vocaloid-based compositions.
I mainly work with the AiSuu Vocaloid. I love her voice, and I also felt a connection because her name is almost identical to my artist name.
I value conveying warmth and everyday emotions over perfect pitch accuracy.
Through songwriting, I want to deliver music that voices the feelings within me and those emotions others struggle to put into words.
It may not be flashy, but I aim for music that leaves your heart feeling just a little lighter after listening.
I hope to continue at my own pace, enjoying the journey.
I'd be happy if my music could gently resonate somewhere in someone's everyday life.
