Artist Profile
ARKARK: Born in Nishitokyo, Tokyo.
As a child, he played the piano with his older brother, who was taking lessons. He was extremely obese and unable to exercise, so he tended to stay at home, but when he joined the badminton club, which had achieved national-class results, in junior high school, he discovered his potential.
After forming a cover band in high school, he started composing music as a hobby.
After turning 30, he saw news about global warming and the North Korea issue and felt that "you never know what will happen tomorrow," so he began his activities with the desire to release his own songs to the world.
He is particular about writing deep lyrics that ignite the strength in the hearts of those who hear them.
ARK means ark. His nickname in school was "AK," so he named it after himself, hoping to have a fun and adventure-filled life with the crew who would board his ship.
