aldo van eyckNamed after a Dutch architect, 'aldo van eyck' was formed in Fukuoka in 2021.
The band's attitude is 'Deconstruction of the Blues' and fuses garage, post-punk, jazz, blues, and no
wave into a singular, high-voltage sound. The experimental intensity and warped grooves have made
aldo van eyck's live shows instantly captivating.
The debut album 'Nada' (2022) sold out immediately at HOLIDAY! RECORDS and HMV&BOOKS HAKATA,
quickly spreading their reputation nationwide through word of mouth and online buzz.
The 20-track second album `dead shot dan' (2023) marked aldo van eyck's first nationwide release and
expanded their audience from indie-rock diehards to jazz listeners, earning the 2024 CD Shop Award
(Kyushu Block).
In June 2025, aldo van eyck released 'das Ding', an ambitious 20-track, 71-minute third album that
pushes the band's eclectic approach even further.
The band's live momentum continues to surge: a headline show in Hong Kong (Feb 2025), a sold-out first
Tokyo headline (Apr 2025), and a four-city release tour in July with three sold-out dates. They also
appeared at ONE PARK RIVERFES 2025, BOROFESTA 2025, and BiKN Shibuya 2025.
