Yo YasudaYo Yasuda is a bassist and composer with a career spanning 30 years in the Okinawa music industry. He has supported numerous Okinawan artists through live performances and studio recordings. He has also shared the stage with some of most legendary artists in Japan, including Kosetsu Minami, Mie (Pink Lady), EPO, Terumasa Hino, and Toshiki Kadomatsu. In addition to his work as a session musician, he has spent over 20 years as an improvisational performer specializing in electronic instruments.
In 2016, Yo began producing "Oyako Jazz", a series of events designed for parents and children to enjoy together. In 2023, he launched "DTM Okinawa", a project dedicated to collaborating with and empowering the next generation of teenage digital music creators.
