J.YUKARIBorn in Osaka City. Due to the influence of her parents, she frequently attended Takarazuka Revue and concerts by famous Western music singers from a young age, and was fascinated by a variety of music. In 1998, she began working as a member of the Gospel Kwire led by TAEKO GLOLY, and has worked on numerous stages, including the Employees' Pension Hall (now Orix Theatre), a hotel dinner show, and more. She also served as lead vocalist. She then switched to jazz and studied under vocalist Sakai Yoko in 2010. The first one-man live performance was held in August of the same year. She then appeared at numerous live houses in the Kansai region, including Shinsaibashi's Ragtime Osaka and Umeda's Azur. He also performed live performances in Tokyo, including Hongo's Tokyo Club. They also performed a solo live performance at a party venue where more than 300 people from overseas gather. She moved to the United States in 2017 and took private lessons from vocalist Alexis Cole. She also experienced authentic live jazz at numerous live performance houses in New York and participated in sessions. She is becoming more and more interested in jazz. She continues to study legendary vocalist Kuroiwa Shizue and is currently active mainly in the Kansai region. Ballad's unique worldview is well-known.
