Kanako ItoKanako Ito
Born in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture.
She began her music career in high school, performing with bands in her hometown of Utsunomiya. In 1996, she appeared on the TV program *Ebisu Onsen*, which inspired her to move to Tokyo on her own in 1998. In 2000, she met Toshimichi Isoe of ZIZZ STUDIO, and in 2002, she made her debut singing the theme song for Nitroplus's PC game *Kikokugai*. Since then, she has been active primarily as a performer of theme songs for games, including all six titles in the *Science Adventure Series*. She has also released numerous original songs.
In 2018, she began activities with an indie unit, and in 2022, she celebrated her 20th anniversary with the release of her commemorative original full album *Arigatou*. In 2024, she released the original best album *Beginning*. Following her motto, "I'll go wherever I'm invited!", she continues her free-spirited musical journey, going wherever the wind takes her.
