ASIAN GROUNDASIAN GROUND is a three-piece punk rock band based in Tokyo.
Centred around catchy melodies and raw punk energy, they pursue a free-spirited style of music that defies conventional notions of what punk should be
Formed in 2024, they released their five-track EP ATTACK FROM MY LOVER in November of the same year. Characterised by a structure in which the tracks are linked to form a single narrative, their work goes beyond mere energy and sound to encompass the stories behind the lyrics and compositions.
Since their formation, they have performed not only in Japan but also in Italy. Upon their return, they held a solo concert in Tokyo and have since been actively performing, organising their own events, touring, playing gigs across the country and sharing the stage with overseas bands. Unbound by geographical constraints or established conventions, they have expanded their reach whilst delivering their music directly to audiences.
What ASIAN GROUND values most is not the mere reproduction of styles from specific eras or genres. Rather, they aim to carry on the spirit of punk rock that has influenced them, whilst interpreting it through their own contemporary sensibilities. Furthermore, the core of their activity lies in continuing to create what they themselves truly find cool, unbound by trends or established values.

At live shows, they break down the barriers with the audience, creating a space where everyone can enjoy themselves freely, whilst in their recorded work, they pursue narrative depth and the originality of the songs themselves.
