Sumire KuribayashiPianist, Composer.Her debut album won the Disc Grand Prix New Star Award in 2014. In 2018, she was featured on the cover of Jazz Life magazine. She has performed as a leader at the Hoxton Hall in London and the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, as well as touring Europe and Australia. Her unique expression, which is based on jazz but does not fit into any framework, is highly regarded. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she collaborated with artists from all over the world in the European improvisation community. Her remote recording album 'I will touch you' with Giuseppe Bassi was selected as one of the top 100 jazz albums in Italy in 2021. Her father is an Ikuta-ryu koto player.
