WORLD CITIZENBack in 2013, we launched our debut album as saisa going on to release four albums in total. With each release, we embarked on tours across Asia, performing in China and Taiwan, all while carving out a distinctive sound.
Then, in 2020, the COVID19 pandemic struck, and everything came crashing down. Every planned tour, every recording session was cancelled. The entire band left, and I felt like I was drifting in the depths, far from everything, and slowly losing not only my passion for music but also a part of who I was.
Yet, the hunger for music never truly faded.
In 2023, I was invited to compose the score for Kazuaki Kiriya's film At the End of the World, and that marked my return to music. It reignited a frozen passion, and I made a firm decision to immerse myself in music deeper than ever before.
Now, in 2024, I am stepping forward once again, this time with a new lineup under the name WORLD CITIZEN featuring

The bands name draws inspiration from the collaboration between Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Sylvian. We aim to capture the beauty and deep emotion found in their music, and hope to resonate with listeners in the same way.
Once more, we are ready to share new sounds with the world.
