kumohareA Japanese alternative rock band consisting of Tomoko Miyake (Vo/Gt), Satoshi Hirai (Gt), Yusuke Tsuruta (B), and nakanokumi (Dr).
Miyake, Hirai, and Tsuruta, who were college classmates, formed the group, and nakanokumi later joined to complete the current lineup. Their melancholic songs, which seem to shift between the real world and the world of stories, are expressed with a sound influenced by 1990s guitar rock such as The Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer, the Beatles, and Eiichi Ohtaki.
