USUAL MOMENTSAn ambient music unit from Niigata City consisting of Kenichi Maruyama and Takaaki Uchida. Kenichi Maruyama's mellow, delicate sound and all-encompassing feedback sound are fused with Takaaki Uchida's glitch noise, loops, and drones to create a profound yet captivating sonic world that draws the listener in.
The two, who are now in their late 40s, are preparing to produce their first ambient-themed album in 2022, which will be completed in 2024 as "NOT AMBIENT 2022 - 2024." A digital release is scheduled for late August, and a limited edition of 300 LPs will be released from September to October. Mastering was done by internationally acclaimed ambient artist Chihei Hatakeyama.
