Yellow Jahpanese is an independent music crew based in Osaka, Japan.
Blending Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, R&B, Afrobeats and other global sounds, YJP creates music without being limited by genre or borders.
The crew brings together artists with roots in different parts of Japan from the streets of Osaka and Nara to the island of Amami.
Their sound is shaped by Japanese street culture, island roots, Caribbean influence, and the freedom of modern global music.
YJP is not trying to copy a scene overseas.
They are building their own sound from Japan and taking it to the world.
