HeronA four-member band from Japan. The band's precursor was formed in July 2023. The members met through a university club, with the original members, vocalist Taichi Aida and drummer Shyburi at its core. Guitarist F.O. and bassist Mizuki later joined, and the band began its activities in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture in December 2024. Their first EP is scheduled for release in April 2025.
With shoegaze and alternative rock as their main roots, their sound is characterized by roaring guitars and shimmering tones that create the illusion of being at the center of a vortex of sound. Their lyrics make use of the beauty inherent in the Japanese language, evoking the listener's emotions.
Not limited to sound alone, they pursue experimental expression as a New-gazer band, crafting their worldview through visual art as well.
