yuzuna "The Voice Japan" Best 16 finalist, TV Tokyo, Spring 2023 Yuzuna is a multi-lingual singer who speaks not only Japanese, but also Myanmar, her father's native language, as well as English and German. She is a vocalist with precise pitch and beautiful vibrato. > Special Skills: Dancing (hip-hop, K-pop, traditional Japanese dance and playing Japanese instruments), horseback riding, and remembering birthdays. > Favorite artists: Ayaka, Lady Gaga, Koji Tamaki > Favorite music genres: Pop, R&B, Gospel She grew up in a family of music lovers and spent her childhood singing with her family. While living in Myanmar, she was awakened to Western music through an encounter with the musical film "High School Musical. In high school, she was a member of the dance club and received special training in dance. She received singing instruction from a gospel instructor and began singing at the same time, including as a trainee in an English-language musical theater company. While performing live, she has also been actively involved in charity activities, such as performing at charity gigs.
