Born in 1998, ruuto is a rapper from Musashi Koyama, Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan. His music captures everyday life in his hometown, the bonds he shares with his friends, and the struggles and growth that come with chasing dreams in Tokyo. Blending melodic records with straightforward rap, he transforms real life experiences into authentic and relatable music.
In July 2026, ruuto released his debut EP, HORIDE, named after the apparel brand he previously founded. Carrying the values of the brand into music, the five track project reflects the stories, friendships, and experiences that shaped him in Musashi Koyama.
Alongside his solo career, ruuto is preparing a series of upcoming releases, including collaborative projects with RICO and producer 874x. Rooted in Musashi Koyama, he continues to create music that honestly reflects his life, his city, and the people around him.
