Hiroki Saitoh

He started playing classical guitar at the age of 10, and began studying classical music theory in earnest at the age of 18. He then enrolled in the Information Music Course at Nihon University College of Art, where he studied psychoacoustics and psychoacoustic analysis, and began composing experimental and orchestral works. After graduation, in addition to providing music for films, commercials, TV, the Web, and many other media, he has been involved in sound design for nanaco card interface sounds, sound source development for YAMAHA, and corporate CI for DAIHATSU and other companies. He has also created music for an exhibition at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, and has presented sound installations and other art works, and actively collaborates with various artists. In 2015, he began working as an electronic artist QUKO, and in 2016 he launched SoundscapeDesignLab, a sound branding agency that focuses on soundscapes as the axis of its thinking.
