JIJIMJIJIM is a six-piece band formed in 2022 centered around vocalist Shinju.
The band takes its name from the Turkish word meaning small and joyful as well as from jijim a traditional kilim weaving technique a fitting metaphor for their music where every note is carefully woven together with intention.
Blending catchy melodies with lyrical depth JIJIM crafts a genre fluid sound that balances warmth and dynamism. Their live performances stand out for their organic energy built entirely by the six members on stage without the use of sequences or programmed tracks.
