Aya Aiba
The first Japanese infant and child sleep consultant certified by International Parenting and Health Institute (IPHI). In partnership with IPHI, Aya runs a Sleep Consultant qualification courses in Japanese as an instructor and has coached over 400 students. Soon after giving birth to her first son, Aya began to struggle with her son's sleep as well as her own. To improve the situations, Aya started to study sleep science for infants and children and became an IPHI-certified sleep consultant. Currently, while raising two sons in New York, she lectures at Japanese companies and events, and runs online service "Aiba Kosodate Community", where consultants including herself provide information and professional advices about sleep, development and education etc for Japanese parents. Aya is an author of "Mama to Akachan no Gussuri Bon" (Kodansha) and "Manga de Yomu Gussuri Nemuru Akachan no Nekasekata" (Shufu no Tomosha), and she supervised "Mama ni Iikoto Daizen" (Shufu no Tomosha).
