The DavosThe Davos is a Tokyo-based rock band consisting of Hazumu Yamazaki (Gt.), Yuya Kikukawa(Ba.), Sputniko!(Vo.), and Satoshi Shimmyo(Dr.). Their band name "The Davos" is satirically named by Sputniko! because the members are all musicians turned start-up entrepreneurs. Hazumu and Yuya first met in Lyon, France in 2017 at a start-up conference, and they soon connected through their shared love of music. The two of them started a podcast called "Startup Podcast" to interview interesting people in the startup industry and Sputniko! appeared on their show as a guest. Their conversation sparked, herself also sharing similar tastes of music, so they immediately formed a band together. Satoshi Shimmyo later joined them as a drummer, and they performed their first gig in the summer of 2019.
