SIMON first emerged in 2006 with his street album STREET KNOWLEDGE, capturing attention in Tokyos HIPHOP scene. The following year, he appeared on the final cover of Japans HIPHOP magazine BLAST and delivered a historic mic relay with ANARCHY, Cypress Ueno, COMA-CHI, and SEEDA on the track Mirai wa Kurakunai.
He continued releasing albums such as SIMON SAYS, TWICE BORN, and B.U.I.L.D, expanding his presence beyond borders. In 2010, his track Tequila, Gin Or Henny was played on New Yorks HOT97, an unprecedented achievement for a Japanese rapper. He later worked on the soundtrack for the film TOKYO TRIBE and coached its cast in rap performance while also writing for artists including 2PM, GOT7, BALLISTIK BOYZ, and Paradox Live.
After releasing his 2016 album 03, SIMON dropped the EP TRY with producer YMG in 2021. His 2020 single Douttokotonee feat RYKEY became a breakout hit, surpassing 4.3 million views on YouTube.
In 2025, SIMON released his album IDENTIDAD, a project rooted in his Bolivian birth and Tokyo upbringing. Featuring ralph, Bene Baby, LUKA, and Senninsho, IDENTIDAD marks a new era of raw storytelling and true identity.
