GongdoraGongdora is a songwriter / producer from Tokyo, Japan.
He is an experienced musician and have joined various projects in the past such as psychedelic rock band, guitar improvisations, folk music, ambient music, however, as a result of pursuing his ideal sound, he ended up producing electronic music on a laptop computer.
This debut album presents a colorful exotic-electro sound, incorporating various styles such as Brazilian music, folk music, hip-hop, dub and so on. It also includes tracks featuring Mishio Ogawa: an ex-vocalist from the legendary new wave rock band Chakra, KEIZOmachine!: a member of a breakbeat music duo HIFANA and Hitomi Yamakami: an experienced Brazilian jazz saxophonist / flutist who has toured with stars like Lisa Ono, Saori Yuki.
The album title Entrance has double meanings. First, it stands for that this album will be a doorway to Gongdora's exotic sounds. Second, Entrance is a synonym to "being enchanted" or "carried away".
