YuUki KATAYAMA

Profile: YuUkiKATAYAMA Musician who loves guitar and environmental sounds. He studied Jazz, Soul, and Funk at a music school, and moved to the U.S. to pursue his own musical expression. After working in sessions and music activities overseas, he began to play the guitar in 2015, and has since then been involved in traditional Japanese performing arts, In 2015, he started various activities beyond music, such as art production and soundscaping. Currently pursuing possibilities between "sound" and "music. (Brief history) 2017 Released sound and music videos under the art project "KYOimage" with Korean art director SinjiroE. Touring in 5 cities in Korea. 2021 Started to sell products that allow you to listen to the sound of field-recorded water, such as "Water Noise Supplement" and "Sound Lottery & Sound Gacha" from joint venture "Mazama-MA-". Released 3rd solo album "Fall Slowly 528Hz". His own music ranked 1st in the instrumental category and 2nd in the jazz category of the iTunes ranking. 2022. Released 4th Alubum "INSPIRED BY COLORS". YuUkiKATAYAMA Tour 2022" at 9 different venues in Japan including ROME THEATER KYOTO and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum. In 2023 YuUkiKATAYAMA held his own performance "THE EARLESS -6th Sense-" in two parts at the long-established theater "Théâtre de l'Île-Saint-Louis" in Paris, France.
