Assembled here are musicians who share the idea of Mariko Tomimatsu (at the piano). She took the initiative in forming a band to play such music that you say "I've heard it once", "Nostalgic, somehow", "yet, it's kind'a new". The band, called "Le Chiacchiere", has started its activity since 2004.
Each member, active in playing music separately usually in different genre, joins in under the same banner "Le Chiacchiere" to "blabber on" in music.
Playing at various halls and live houses in metropolitan Tokyo for independent performances, the band is also enthusiastic in visiting kindergartens, nurseries, high schools and homes for the elderly to entertain and console.
Their repertoire includes original tunes, classics, sound-track music, TV theme songs, popular songs, children's songs, jazz, pops, tango, etc., covering a wide range of genres beyond ages and generations played in unique arrangement.
