Issei was born to a Japanese father and a Portuguese mother. He spent his childhood surrounded by classical music through the sounds of the piano and the violin. He became interested in pops, R&B, soul and JAZZ as a middle school kid, and he started singing songs as a hobby under the influence of Beyoncé, Chris Brown, and Mariah Carey. As he went on to a university, he started posting songs on SNSs by chance. With the encouragement of a producer experienced in the United States who came across with his postings, he committedly began pursuing his singing on his own. At present, through his sophisticated vocals, he has been developing his music with the focus on R&B. Music has always been a key and essential element throughout his life, and now his music leads us to a world full of originality. Not only a singer, but also he is a multiplayer who can manage song writing, track making and vocal directions. Skilled in multiple languages, his unique song writing with advanced absolute pitch has been recognized overseas as well.
