THINGS is a highly accomplished retro-pop band whose sound draws on a wide range of influences, including soul, funk, jazz, and R&B.
Amid the recent resurgence of interest in Japanese city pop and the emergence of a new generation of artists inspired by the genre, THINGS stands out for the exceptional musicianship and vocal ability of its members, earning recognition from music industry professionals and discerning listeners alike.
Each member is an established professional musician in their own right, actively involved in songwriting and composing for other artists, as well as session and support work. Collectively, their individual careers include appearances at major events such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and the international music festival Asian Beat, recognition with the Berklee Multi-Keyboard Award, and performances as vocalists and backing singers at prominent venues including Saitama Super Arena and KT Zepp Yokohama.
In October 2025, THINGS made their international debut with their first overseas performance at Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai.
The band held a solo concert at ADRIFT Shimokitazawa in December 2025 and is scheduled to perform another headline show at SPACE ODD in Daikanyama in November 2026.
