MaikaBorn in Yokohama, Kanagawa, she is a singer-songwriter known for her delicate, dreamy taking on everyday life.
Her voice carries a sense of transparency, sometimes infused with a playful pop sensibility, gently transforming ordinary moments into something a little more dreamlike.
She began performing acoustic guitar and vocals in her third year of junior high school, drawing inspiration from anime songs, J-pop, and other Japanese music.
She currently writes lyrics and composes music, as well as creates artwork for videos and album covers.
She contributes vocals to the album "The Artifacts" by the music project "Dalmatian." (2024-)
