Takashi NakashimaBorn in Fukuoka, Japan in 1986, he began playing bass at the age of 17. Through performing in bands and working as a support bassist, he encountered a wide range of music and musicians. In 2009, he began pursuing a career as a composer in earnest.
Rooted in Rock and Pop, his work spans a diverse range of genres and forms, including Jazz, Classical, traditional Japanese music, film and theatrical scores, corporate songs, commercials, sound logos, BGM, and sound effects.
He values the atmosphere and temperature that music can convey, transforming emotions and scenes that cannot be put into words into sound. Rather than focusing solely on catchiness or beauty, he strives to connect with the story and background behind each piece, giving every work its own unique character and expression.
From composition, songwriting, and arrangement to recording, mixing, and mastering, he oversees every stage of the production process. His work includes providing music for artists, idols, and companies, as well as a wide variety of other creative projects.
By continuing to explore the connection between people and music beyond the boundaries of genre, he seeks to create sounds that can only exist for a particular person, a particular moment, and a particular time.
