Hiromi MatsuBorn in Yamanaka Onsen, Kaga City, Ishikawa, Hiromi Matsu graduated from the Department of Vocal Music at the Tokyo University of the Arts.
Drawing on his classical vocal training, he performs as a "Nursing Home Kayo Singer," bringing classic Japanese kayokyoku and enka to elderly care facilities, primarily throughout Kanagawa, through live music performances.
His debut single, "Saraba Ishikawa, Nihonkai," reflects his own journey from his hometown of Ishikawa to Ueno, Tokyo, and eventually Yokohama.
With nostalgic melodies and heartfelt storytelling, Hiromi Matsu aims to create music that stays close to people's memories and lives, while carrying the spirit of Japanese kayokyoku into a new generation.
