Artist Profile
cablejackCablejack is a solo techno artist based in Aichi, Japan.
Making music since his teens, he produces almost every track using a single AKAI sampler, embracing a simple, hardware-focused workflow.
Inspired by Detroit techno as well as Japanese pioneers such as Takkyu Ishino, KEN ISHII, and KAGAMI, his music blends minimal, hypnotic, and industrial elements into club-oriented techno.
Working full-time as an office employee, Cablejack made his official debut just before turning 50. Alongside producing original releases, he shares DJ mixes on YouTube, where one of his videos has surpassed 100,000 views.
