Fair groundFair ground is a four-piece rock band formed in 1999. The band is composed of Hiromu Kishimoto (Vo.), Satoshi Takegata (Gt.), Yoshiharu Aoki (Ba.), and Shunsuke Iji (Dr.), and they restarted in 2023 with a focus on recording and exploring unreleased songs from the time of their formation. The band has been exploring unreleased songs from the time of its formation with a sound that can only be played now.
Fair ground is a name intentionally created by combining two words: Fair (fairness, equality, peace, and fair play) and ground (the earth, a foundation, and a playing field).
The name reflects our belief in a beautiful world built on fairness and peace. It is also inspired by the idea of a baseball fair ground, representing our desire to stay true to the fundamentals and follow an honest path.
Rather than chasing trends or relying on gimmicks, we strive to create music that is timeless, honest, and firmly rooted. This philosophy is the foundation and the origin of the name Fair ground.
