Takahiro IkedaJapanese bassist.
Since beginning his professional career in 1989, Hiro has performed, recorded, and toured with numerous artists and bands across Japan.
Following his major-label debut with Gusty Bombs on Sony Records, he expanded his career through projects such as desert planet and S.Q.F., while supporting a wide range of artists in both studio recordings and live performances.
Drawing inspiration from Rock, Blues, and Funk, Hiro is recognized for his deep pocket, warm tone, and powerful sense of groove.
Currently based in Yokohama, Japan, he remains active as a recording and performing musician, collaborating across diverse musical styles.
