Studio Silhouette is a family music unit based in Hokkaido, Japan, consisting of producer/sound creator Ikuya and vocalist Seina.
Raised in a pastor's family, Ikuya grew up surrounded by hymns and sacred music from an early age. After moving to Tokyo, he was involved in live performances, music production, and music magazine writing as part of a techno unit. He later worked with a gospel label, where he studied music production and producing, before expanding into stage and musical productions as well as collaborations with artists from Japan and abroad.
Seina has been involved in recording sessions and live events since childhood, and began releasing original songs and cover performances on YouTube in 2020.
Blending transparent vocals with delicate sound design, Studio Silhouette creates music beyond genre boundaries.
