KNUCKLESFormed in 1995. In 1997, released their 1st mini-album [KNUCKLES]on CD and 12-inch vinyl. Toured nationwide with Goofy's Holiday. [RADIO]featuring a horn section, became a club hit, selling over 15,000 copies. In 1998, released a split single with PET. Supported MU330, MIKE PARK, CIV, AVAIL, and MUSTARD PLUG on their Japan tours. Released the 7-inch single [NOTHING OF CHANGE EP.] In 1999, toured nationwide with EASY GRIP. Participated in a RAMONES tribute album. Opened CIV on their second Japan tour. Supported VOO DOO GLOW SKULLS on their Japan tour. Held a two-man show with EASY GRIP at Bayside Jenny. 2000: Selected as the support act for ex.the CLASH, Joe Strummer & the Mescalelos first Japan tour in Osaka. Released the 7-inch single [RADIO]. Released the album [NO REASON, NO FEAR]. Supported SNUFF for their second Japan tour. Held a two-man live show with PET at Osaka SUNHALL. Held a three-man live show with GELUGUGU and Jerry at Shinsaibashi Club Quattro. 2001: Held the NO REASON, NO FEAR tour final at Bayside Jenny, featuring Maximum the Hormone, G4N, and Rotten Graffiti. Held a tour of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka with COBRA. Held Osaka Burning at Shinsaibashi M-CUBE with BURL, PET, and 3.6MILK. 2002: Released the album [ROCKN'ROLL GO THROGH THE WORLD]. Went on a nationwide tour. Support act for KOTTON MOUTH KINGS Japan tour. Held their first solo live performance at Tennoji Alice. Held Osaka Burning 2 at M-CUBE and Osaka Burning 3 at Bayside Jenny, together with BURL, PET, and 3.6MILK. 2003: Released mini-album [4REAL]. Embarked on a nationwide tour. Held a two-man live show with BURL at Shinsaibashi Club Quattro. Held a solo live show at Shinsaibashi Club Quattro. Held Osaka Burning 4 at Bayside Jenny with BURL, PET, and 3.6MILK. 2004: Held the [4REAL]tour final as a solo show at Nakamozu Club Massive. Embarked on a nationwide tour with EASY GRIP for the first time in 6 years. Held a three-man show in Tokyo with GOOD4NOTHING and EASY GRIP. Held the tour final as a two-man show at Club Massive. 2005: Held a completely free solo live show at Amemura PIPE69. Held a two-man live show with MILKMAN at Nakamozu Club Massive. 2006: KNUCKLES went on indefinite hiatus in January. April 2025: Resumed activities with Vo/TSUTOMU, G/Youge, B/MUKACHIN, Dr/MANABU. December 2025: Revival live performance at Shinkagura, Amerikamura, Osaka. January 2026: Performed at SKANKIN CAPITAL, Kyoto Muse. After the regular live performance, performed three songs including a radio segment with the horn section of the ska band THEE SKABARRACUDAS. February 2026: Performed at an event hosted by old friend Bushman at Gattaca, Kyoto. March 2026: Performed at an event at ZION, Nagoya.
