In her hometown of Niigata, she was a member of a theater company that primarily performed Shakespearean plays, where she was a member for about seven years.
After moving to Tokyo, in addition to her acting career, she also gained experience in commercials, stage MCing, and modeling.
Her singing career began when a fellow actor casually offered her the opportunity to sing the theme song for a movie they were making.
From there, she became incredibly busy, performing numerous live shows.
Her acting-inspired songs, performed with a simple chord progression and guitar-accompanied singing style, are somehow both delicate and powerful.
