THE FLUXTHE FLUX
Born in 1994, from Kyoto Prefecture. A multi talented artist who works in production, track making, songwriting, singing, and rap. While maintaining a broad style, he combines originality and quality in everything he does.
THE FLUX started music at age 15. While working as a dancehall sound man, he built a career from the beginning that crossed genres and roles, including dancehall and hip hop track making, and producing for rappers and singers.
In 2015, at age 21, he produced the bonus track Lets Get Started for SEEDA and DJ ISSO CONCRETE GREEN 13. The track features JUMA, MATO, EINSHTEIN, SEEDA, Jinmenusagi, EGO, and MORROW.
In 2018, in New York, he produced Im the One for KIMIKA, an artist signed to UNIVERSAL MUSIC JAPAN. He also produced ONLY 20 for the Osaka based young artist T U G. He produced NEVERLAND and MAGNOLIA for SLEEVE, a young duo active mainly in the Kansai and Hokuriku regions.
In May 2019, he released the first album GoldFish, for which he handled almost everything himself, including vocals, lyrics, tracks, and engineering. In 2020, he moved his base to Osaka and produced Heisei Boys Takushi ni Notte Kurabu ni Ikou Remix. Together with Heisei Boys, he participated in Music Circus 2022 as a back DJ.
In 2022, he produced COOL RUNNING feat MIGHTY JAM ROCK for In Fumi Aigumi, a group that leads Osakas hip hop scene. He continues to work artistically across genres and generations.
