ICONA pronounced Ikoona is a Tokyo-based digital music unit led by veteran manipulator Tohto Arai, whose 30-year career includes touring with major artists.
Alongside Shinichiro Ohta (Vocals/Guitar) and Hiroyuki Sonobe (Keyboards), the unit reconstructs the structural beauty of 1980s New Wave and the legacy of YMO. Mixed by legendary engineer Yasuo Kimoto, their sound is a precise fusion of vintage digital textures and modern urban decadence.
Setting a new standard in electronic music, ICONA begins on June 1st, 2026.
