MamiBorn in 1988 in Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan.
In 2007, made a major debut with Pony Canyon as a member of the dance-vocal unit CASSIS.
After leaving the group in 2009, took time away from music for marriage and childbirth, then resumed activities as a singer-songwriter in 2015.
From 2015 to 2018, also worked as a vocal instructor.
Currently active in live performances while expanding creative work as a graphic designer.
