Asano Kaoru
Japan, Prefecture native, female.
Since 2020, I have been playing the hososao shamisen to create gentle and deep resonant tones.
Since 2023, I have been studying composition under Mr. Seitaro Shibata.
I hope to create deep sounds: a resonance of rich tones that slowly sinks into the body.
Alone, I trace each sound, one by one.
May that resonance awaken your senses.
May that space allow you to feel your breath once more.
May you once more notice the touch of the wind and the gentle flicker of the light.
Some of my favorite pieces are Tatsuro Yamashita: Luminescence, Boku no Naka no Shonen, and Kazeno Kairo, and Bach: Air on the G String.
