Born in Tokyo in 2002. Centered around his work as an artist, illequal is active in a wide range of roles including DJ, producer, and engineer.
In 2021, he released his first EP [musyoku toumei/2020] from the label i75xsc3e, and in the same year began performing more extensively as a DJ. Drawing roots from internet culture and UK dance music, his DJ style is characterized by its genre-crossing approach.
In 2023, he released his second EP [fragment]on Maltine Records. In 2024, he launched a new label/collective, eura, together with Naoki Sagara.
