Artist Profile
YUKI AKIMURAYuki started playing piano at the age three. She was going to advance to the way of piano straight but sealed it when she injured her right hand.
After a long interval, Yuki started playing piano again for the rehabilitation of her second injury. She had to restart from playing scales. In 2010, she participated in the competition overseas. Took piano lessons in Berlin and decided to live with music again in earnest.
Her arrangements now count over 70 pieces in many genres.
She creates a piece by making a story, imagining sceneries that appear in mind.
She is now active as a pianist aiming to produce drifting melodies, letting go with the flow and bring back sweet, sour, and pleasant memories.
