Began studying piano and violin at the age of three, winning first prize at the PTNA Piano Competition National Finals at nine. Started playing trumpet in high school and later completed a master degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. After pursuing a career outside of music for a while, left the corporate world last year to fully dedicate to the trumpet.
Drawn to the freedom of expression in jazz, began studying the genre two and a half years ago and is now active in Tokyo as a live performer, big band member, and recording artist for commercials and film scores. Has toured with artists such as ATARASHII GAKKO and Macaroni Enpitsu, and collaborates widely across generations and genres.
The original track Setting Sun was selected for numerous playlists including Spotify official Mellow Beats, reaching listeners both in Japan and overseas.
