The DROPSThe DROPS were formed around 1988 and are considered one of Japan's pioneering ska and rocksteady bands. Over the years, the band has evolved through changes in its members and lineup, and in 2023, The DROPS officially restarted their activities. They released their first 7-inch single in nine years and have been actively performing ever since.
Staying true to their roots, The DROPS focus on 1960s-inspired ska and rocksteady, while embracing a wide range of arrangements, from classic vintage sounds to punk-influenced styles.
