Encounters in Slow MotionA Neo City Soul unit led by rapper and poetry reader KATASUMI who has been active as a global hip-hop artist. The tracks, produced and performed by bassist Ryuta Sakamoto, feature support from guitarist Hajime Matsuda, drummer Yuichi Hokazono, and keyboardist Yuki Hanabusa, among others. The music successfully reimagines the SOUL and FUNK of the late 1970s to early 1980s in a Neo City Soul style, achieving a remarkable futuristic sound.
