Ryuhei KoikeAcoustic rhythm guitarist and singer. He plays guitar for bonobos and LITTLE TEMPO. Born in Arakawa Ward, Tokyo, he spent his childhood in the United States. While pursuing a teaching career at Waseda University Graduate School of Education, he switched to guitar. His solid rhythm guitar playing, rooted in reggae, bossa nova, and folk music, and his silky vocals have earned him high praise in various scenes. In addition to his solo work, he has backed numerous vocalists.
