Artist Profile

BUG/VISIONBUG/VISION is a Japanese rock band. Their genre is characterized by a basic rock sound and catchy melodies, but on top of that they are a unique band that mixes a variety of rock genres such as garage rock, alternative rock, and punk. Formed in 2022 by guitarist and vocalist Rinta Kawasaki. The band's name comes from the fact that while Rinta Kawasaki was watching the COVID-19 pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine on TV at the time, he felt that the world was more buggy than he had thought. Upon formation, BUG/VISION released their first album, "THE SOLID". They will focus on recording, live performances, and music video production. On June 30, 2023, BUG/VISION will release their first EP, "Butterfly". The release event will be a solo concert at Higashi-Koenji U.F.O.CLUB on June 30, 2023. April 9, 2024: The drummer and bassist are fired due to a mismatch in enthusiasm among the band members. This effectively puts the band on a hiatus from live performances. In July 2024, the single "Bug Vision" is released digitally. On April 4, 2025, they resumed live performances at Shimokitazawa Rokudemai Yoru. The current lineup is now Rinta Kawasaki (Gt.Vo), Shouuchi Kawa (Gt), Banzai Hiroto (Dr), and Shoujo Saho (Ba). In May 2025, they released the single "Placebo Refrain" digitally. The music video was also released at the same time. In July 2025, they held a three-man live show "Hizumi Enemagura" at Koenji DOM Studio. The show was sold out.
