In his 20s, he performed street shows while aiming to become a professional vocalist, but later took a break from music. As he grew older, he rekindled his passion for music and formed a solo acoustic unit. He possesses a warm, deep voice and a powerful singing voice that is praised by those around him as cool. Influenced by his mother, he listened to enka as a child and was influenced by folk rock from the 1970s to the 1990s.

In his 20s, he began writing original songs while playing in a band, but took a break from music after getting married. After turning 50, he rekindled his passion for music and formed "Yuneko" with vocalist Yuon. His signature style is a simple, unadorned guitar. Inspired by rock music in his 20s, he is currently strongly influenced by folk songs, Miyuki Nakajima, Kazuyoshi Saito, Kimyo Reitaro, and various other artists. His hobby is studying Zen.
