Yutaka ShimomuraActive as the keyboardist for the city-pop band "THREE1989" and a handpan player. In this solo project, Shimomura focuses on "Nature Sounds," building unique acoustic spaces by fusing non-intentional environmental sounds with intentional instrumental performances.
The soundscape draws deep resonance from the warming piano textures of Goldmund, the sonic curiosity of Ryuichi Sakamoto, the exquisite melodies of Rhian Sheehan, and the artistic spirit of painter Tadanori Yokoo. Rooted in the philosophical trinity of "Space = Human = Nature," Shimomura designs the very "space" where sound reverberates.
Stepping away from the clamor of the mainstream, his music delivers a sense of sublime stillness and peace to the exhausted ears of the modern world.
